Ceramic Collection Times
CERAMICS COLLECTIONS:
Paint & Go: Your bisque painted ceramics should be ready to collect within 6 weeks but we will contact when they are ready for collection.
Creating Art from clay: It can take approximately 3 months to get through this process as everything needs to be carefully dried to reduce risk of exploding/damage.
There is a huge amount of post event production that you don’t see to finish your ceramic Artwork which is why it can seem like a long time.
**It would be really helpful if you add our email to your contacts so that when we send out the collection email (probably towards the end of the month), you ought to receive it - sometimes they end up in spam!
We will include a notice on social media once collections dates have been arranged.
Arrival Times
We kindly request that you arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the event begins. This allows us the necessary time to finalise preparations and ensure that the studio is ready for your arrival. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sennelier Extra Fine Solid Oil Sticks are a great way to explore a more direct oil painting method. Use solo or with traditional oils to build your painting.
Apply directly to any traditional oil-painting support, such as canvas, wood panel or fine art paper. They need the same archival priming (acrylic gesso or oil ground) that oil paint requires and can also be varnished

Application tips & techniques
After applying the colour with the point or the edge of the oil stick, colours can be mixed directly on the support, with the possibility of then:
• Blending : with brush, finger, or drawing stump. With or without turpentine,
• Wash-drawing : dilute colours with turpentine or mineral spirit,
• Retouching : with oil stick, palette knife or brush,
• Textures : thick application oil stick colour. Retouch with a brush or palette knife,
Surfaces:
Before use, the surface film of the oil stick must be peeled off. It will form again after a few days of non-use, protecting and conserving the color. The oil sticks must be applied in a thin film application of no more than 1mm thick. Once applied they can be painted over with oil stick or oil paint and if desired be diluted with turpentine. Oil stick Medium, a colorless oil stick, may be used to produce transparent effects and glazes. Once applied, the oil stick surface will dry in 2 to 5 days, depending on the atmospheric conditions
