Our Summer Art and Craft excursions for children serve as enchanting avenues for nurturing creativity and self-expression. Mythical Creatures: A Journey into Enchantment

Immerse yourself in our fantastic Summer Art and Craft weeks, where you can enjoy anywhere from one to four days of creative exploration. Each day is filled with fun and engaging activities that allow children to express their creativity and develop new skills. The adventure begins! As with all our splendid Summer Art Camps, we kick off the week with delightful artistry in a beautifully crafted sketchbook. This is a true odyssey through pages adorned with vibrant paintings, intricate decorations, whimsical drawings, and captivating collages.

Are you ready for an enchanting journey through Middle Earth? Join us for a thrilling children's workshop where imaginations soar and stories come to life! Inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," this workshop will transport young adventurers to a world of old maps, magical creatures, and mystical lands. Grab your journal, pack your curiosity, and let’s embark on a quest filled with creativity and wonder!

Children will create their own Middle Earth map with colourful paint and hand-drawn details. In our Mystical Land Exploration, children will uncover secrets from enchanting places like Rivendell and Mirkwood. During this Journaling Jamboree, they will immerse themselves in Tolkien's universe through engaging hands-on activities, focusing on a visual art journal that includes map-making, creature design, and character illustration. They will connect with fellow adventurers and delve into the magic of Middle Earth!

Unleash the realms of imagination in this exhilarating painting workshop on a Monstrous A3 canvas! Young creators will embark on a journey to blend diverse materials, crafting one-of-a-kind masterpieces. They will discover enchanting techniques such as collage and layering, harnessing the magic of paper, fabric, and found treasures.

Welcome to an enchanting adventure in acrylic painting! Children will dive into a world brimming with imagination and vibrant colours, where magical creatures come to life on a grand canvas. Participants will embark on a creative journey, exploring colour theory and mastering painting techniques, all while creating their very own monstrous acrylic canvas painting.

Imagine painting majestic unicorns galloping through shimmering meadows or a mighty Pegasus soaring through a sky ablaze with sunset hues. Perhaps a fiery dragon or vibrant phoenix will emerge from swirling clouds! The possibilities are as endless as the imagination!

This workshop offers a splendid opportunity for children to delight in playful experiments with textures and hues, conjuring their own artistic wonders inspired by fantastical scenes filled with mythical beings.

Join the "Mythical Marvels" workshop, where children will explore watercolour and mixed media painting and collage by creating enchanting depictions of magical creatures. Participants will craft vibrant collages using ink, print, watercolour, and mixed media, bringing to life figures such as dragons, unicorns, and mermaids!

Children will combine diverse art techniques like drawing, painting, printmaking, gluing, and sticking, finishing with metallic elements to create inspiring artwork that embodies the essence of a magical, mythical world, showcasing their boundless creativity.

Participants will also dive into the basics of stitching, learning how to layer textiles to bring their fantastical designs to life, adorned with sequins and beads that add a touch of sparkle and mystery to their masterpieces. We will select our favourite creations and frame them, ready to display at home!

This dazzling Summer of Art is all about kids diving into sun-drenched crafts, celebrating the season’s joy and vibrancy! These themes are like a happiness factory, igniting creativity and captivating the hearts of every child and their endless imaginations. Creations will burst forth in a riot of colour and inspiration.

Mini Projects may be woven into the Art Days + all important work will reside in our hardback art journal!
