Winter Medley Acrylic Painting on Canvas: 24th January 2026
Is this the right course for me?
Ceramic Collection Times
CERAMICS COLLECTIONS:
Paint & Go: Your bisque painted ceramics should be ready to collect within 6 weeks but we will contact when they are ready for collection.
Creating Art from clay: It can take approximately 3 months to get through this process as everything needs to be carefully dried to reduce risk of exploding/damage.
There is a huge amount of post event production that you don’t see to finish your ceramic Artwork which is why it can seem like a long time.
**It would be really helpful if you add our email to your contacts so that when we send out the collection email (probably towards the end of the month), you ought to receive it - sometimes they end up in spam!
We will include a notice on social media once collections dates have been arranged.
Course Highlights
Arrival Times
We kindly request that you arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the event begins. This allows us the necessary time to finalise preparations and ensure that the studio is ready for your arrival. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Lets breath the crisp air and explore magical Winter landscapes filled with subtle gentle brush stocks, muted Winter colours and subtle hues to create a beautiful semi abstract painting on paper and 30x30cm canvas!
Perfect for all levels of experience!
Participants will delve into process, experiment + learn a variety of abstract paint techniques in a guided painting workshop inspired by the natural raw beauty we find in Winter.
We will guide you to build layers of beautiful Acrylic paint to create simple paintings with the option of adding a touch of shimmering metalic - gold or silver!
Discover how to go with the flow, take advantage of unexpected "mistakes" while you study the basics and go beyond traditional painting by experimenting with different materials in a modern and expressive approach + use colour combinations to make your own kind of magic.
In this painting workshop you will be encouraged to embrace a free approach to painting + relax during this wonderful process, through some simple (think out of the box) techniques, you will abandon + embrace a wabi sabi style of acrylic painting, creating soft layers on quality paper + final piece on canvas. Why not try a little paint alchemy to create interesting effects?
Dabble with warm muted, subtle or bold contrasting colours + add some eye catching sparkling elements.
You will explore this practice of painting, learn to handle different paint consistency, be guided by professionals to develop your interest or try something new!
Acrylic paint is an incredibly fun and forgiving medium (trust us!) and you are sure to have an afternoon of paint play, to create a few interesting art pieces!
Rather than overwhelm with all techniques we choose those that best suit the subject, so that each workshop is a little different from the last!
